Making the invisible visible: DFP
Development Finance Partners (DFP) started life with a safe but pedestrian identity. The business grew. But their identity didn't. Higher stakes opportunities beckoned, but their look-and-feel undercut their credibility. Smörgåsbord was commissioned to close the gap.
DFP's success rests on their connections. They are tenacious in finding ways around financing problems, seeing linkages and leverages invisible to the naked eye. Once we found the perfect way to represent this invisible network as an intersecting grid of points and pathways, everything fell into place.
Smörgåsbord worked in partnership with Marketing Angels' Sydney team to develop a suite of support material, including a reskinned website and new capability brochure.
DFP kept growing. Soon they launched a sister business, First in Finance, geared to meet the needs of individual and SME clients. We extended the graphic language developed for DFP to create a new brand, and modulated it with a more personal, one-on-one tone of voice.
